The Paisley Peacock Consignment Sale

Well, it is a week away from the Paisley Peacock Consignment Sale. For those wanting to earn some money from all those too little clothes for your children, sign up to be a consignor!!!

There is a contest on Facebook with a chance to earn a free appliqued shirt of your choice from me. From now until Thursday at midnight, send your Friends to the Paisley Peacock Facebook page. Have them "like" the page and post your name (as the person who sent them) and "Melinda's Appliques". The person who sends the most people will win a free shirt of your choice.

Just as an FYI: For anything that you may purchase at the consignment sale, remember that it can be monogrammed or appliqued after you purchase it. Also, if you are in love with something that already has a monogram, we can work to cover it up or remove it, so don't let a monogrammed letter prevent you from buying an outfit that you love!!! If you purchase something that you would like monogrammed or would like to have appliqued, let me know and I will be glad to do it!

Let's Get it Together!

Well, after being "out of commission" for a couple of weeks, my machine is on its way home for the 2nd time (thanks to a wonderful friend who was willing to go get it for me)!!! Let's just hope that it really works this time....maybe it's me??? Anyway, in the meantime, my wonderful neighbor and friend, Jessica, lent me her machine. I have been steadily getting done what I can, but let's just be honest....you get used to one machine and it's hard to work on another. Each machine has its own quirkiness and I am used to mine. I hope to be back up and running this weekend! In the meantime, here are a few things that I did get done this week:

On another note, my neighbor (and great friend, I might add), Jessica and I have decided to join forces. She does vinyl items with her Cricut and hairbows. I think that this joining of forces will be a great thing for us both!!! I'm looking forward to what lies ahead as we venture out together. We will be setting up a Facebook page, so look for "Splendid Little Blessings" on Facebook in the next days!
